South Africa is a country of contrasting landscapes and cultures, where cosmopolitan cities, rolling vineyards, dramatic coastlines and wildlife-rich wilderness attract travellers from across the globe. From Cape Town’s spectacular setting beneath Table Mountain, searching for Africa’s Big Five in the vast wilderness of Kruger National Park to enjoying a glass of wine on one of South Africa’s celebrated Cape Winelands vineyards, this holiday allows you to discover why South Africa remains a popular touring holiday destination.
In Cape Town we enjoy views from Table Mountain, visit the Cape Peninsula and view a colony of African penguins. In the Cape Winelands, we ride the historic Franschhoek Wine Tram through vine-covered valleys and visit celebrated winery estates. Then, we swap the vineyards for the African bush with a stay within Kruger National Park. World-renowned for its animal sightings we head out on safari in search of elephants, lions, rhinos and more.
With quality hotels, memorable experiences included along the way and an experienced Tour Manager accompanying you throughout, our 12-day Classic South Africa tour is a wonderful introduction to the many different sides of this captivating country.
